Interim Report of the Aimhigher Learner Progression Framework Feasibility Study
Many Aimhigher partnerships have been working in increasingly complex ways to maximise the use of collaborative resources in a more planned approach to widening participation. This report is the outcome of work between a number of Aimhigher partnerships and Action on Access, and recent consultations with six Aimhigher partnerships who have moved, or are in the process of moving, from offering a menu of individual activities to a more planned, integrated, sequential and progressive approach to widening participation, in particular for learners identified in ‘Higher education outreach: targeting disadvantaged learners’ (HEFCE 2007). Progression Pathways Project Name & Logo Competition
The Progression Pathways Project is an initiative by Aimhigher East Midlands in partnership with the East Midlands Development Agency (emda). Its objective is to create a progression pathways website. The website will go live in summer 2008. Prior to this, a competition has been run to design a logo and give the site a name. The winner will receive £250 in vouchers (Amazon or similar, of their choice), plus their school/college will also receive £250 in vouchers. Two runners-up will each receive £50 in vouchers, plus their school/college will also receive £50 in vouchers. The closing date for the competition was Friday 22 February 2008 and 49 entries were received. Read More »
