Aimhigher East Midlands - Meet The Team

Welcome to Aimhigher East Midlands

Aimhigher is a national initiative to raise levels of participation in higher education. Working in partnership with a range of organisations, Aimhigher provides a range of activities to raise aspirations, broaden horizons and encourage learners from schools, colleges and communities where traditionally progression to higher education is relatively low.

One of nine regions in a nationally funded initiative, Aimhigher East Midlands comprises the following five areas:

The growing regional team coordinates regional activity and manages a number of generic activities across the region.

These activities include:

Organisation of summer schools for year 11 learners
A Plan for Developing Diversity in the Region’s Health and Social Care Workforce
Research and Data Group
Staff development and the dissemination of good practice
Monitoring and evaluating activity across the region
Marketing and communicating regional activity
Boys into Higher Education regional programme
Progression Pathways project
